Buy On DemandThis briefing will provide an in-depth look at the Sole Source contracting space and how companies can identify and capture last-minute opportunities. Sole Source contracts represent a significant portion of government contract awards and are used by many Contracting Officers because they are fast, easy, and don’t require reviewing dozens of proposals. The majority of these contracts happen in the final days of the fiscal year – by 9/30/24, and billions of dollars are expected to be spent.
Many contracts are sole-sourced through 8a and using Justification and Approval (J&A) and the expanded sole-source thresholds for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB). Your company may qualify for sole-source awards valued at $7 million or more through the approval of the Senior Procurement Executive (ASAALT).
