Buy On DemandThe federal government is expected to spend $2.4 Billion in September on 475,000 contracts below the $10,000 micro-purchase threshold–most with zero competition. This procurement briefing is scheduled for 90 minutes and will address how agencies will meet urgent contracting demands for year-end spending by 9/30/2024. Businesses can leverage the Micro-Purchase standards established by OMB M-18-18 for using P-Card (Government Purchase Card Holders) for minimally competed contracts under $10,000 and up to $250,000 using FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
IMPORTANT:
This briefing will discuss P-Card ordering procedures for both GSA and Non-GSA contracts as well as how small businesses can find and market to P-Card holders and federal contracting officers with warrant capability that need to buy products and services, and how to find and reach federal P-Card and Contracting Officers with warrant capability within your NAICS. P-Card usage has risen dramatically since the increase to the $10,000 threshold and comprises a portion of contract awards that never hit beta.sam.gov.
This briefing will uncover strategies and tactics companies can use to obtain significant sales by marketing to P-Card holders.
Recommended attending personnel:
Recommended attendees include businesses that provide products and/or services for less than $10,000 ($25,000 for some DoD).
