Overview

Pursuant to Executive Order 14210, federal agencies are directed to improve the efficiency and quality of government systems and infrastructure. Environmental and Safety training is required across federal agencies, yet the methods used to deliver training vary widely depending on the agency and location. This consumes significant cost in time, money, and increases the risk of compliance violations that risk life, health, and safety of the warfighter and civilian agency personnel.

This 60-minute briefing will explore how government agencies can standardize and automate training using secure and customizable platforms built in the Microsoft 365 environment. Attendees will learn how innovative, secure, and adaptable training tools can improve compliance outcomes and efficacy while still remaining relevant at the unit level.

Because SharePoint is standard-issue within most federal agencies as part of Microsoft 365/DoD365, federal employees can use it as a secure, compliant platform to organize information, manage documents, and improve collaboration without requiring new software approvals. SharePoint enables teams to create program-specific sites, establish structured document libraries with metadata, control version history, and set role-based permissions aligned to federal security policies.
