Email Marketing Policy


GovBrief uses email marketing to promote government centric events. As such, we maintain a robust database of federal employees and businesses connected with or providing services to the federal government.

In addition, GovBrief strives to provide federal subscribers that have registered with government systems notifications relevant to their registered NAICS code the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS.gov).

Inclusion on GovBrief’s email lists occur because of user requested registration to federal government systems, government industry day participation, personal interaction and attendance of GovBrief sessions. GovBrief is a private entity and does not have the ability to correct or append information provided by a US Government system.

Unsolicited and Unwanted Emails

GovBrief’s sends emails with information to individuals that have intentionally registered in the systems listed above and strives to proactively include and maintain recipients that want and expect materials provided by GovBrief. While some of the collection of emails is provided by US Government sources and systems out of GovBrief’s control, all emails are validated before inclusion to our database, and all emails contain an explicit opt-in link and opt-out link. Opt-out requests are immediately processed, please allow 72 hours for your email to be removed.

All GovBrief emails contain a clearly identifiable opt-out link. However, some email protection providers render this link inoperable. This is outside of GovBrief’s control. Should this occur, please simply respond with a removal request and your email will be processed by GovBrief Support. Please allow 72 hours for your email to be removed.

Government and private organizations may promote GovBrief sessions and emails may contain links to GovBrief. GovBrief does not control these sends but reserves the right to restrict use of links if they are used in unsolicited emails.
