The Small Business Administration 8(a) Business Development (BD) program provides socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who own at least 51% of a Small Business with the ability to receive sole source contracts up to $6.5M and compete for 8(a) contracts above $6.5M. This industry briefing is scheduled for 60 minutes and will address the requirements of and process for obtaining 8a Certification.  Additional information will be provided for identifying upcoming 8(a) opportunities, re-competed 8(a) set-asides and proactively marketing your company to win sole-source 8(a) federal contracts.
